Summary
Performs a variety of duties in the warehouse. Safely operates forklift in performance of most job duties.
Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Functions
Assists in counting finished goods for inventory and reports count to person recording inventory counts.
Assists with stock rotation and consolation of finished goods.
Assists in maintaining lot expiration report for sales
Monitors pallet inventory for reordering purposes.
Assists with special sale requirements.
Pulls product for donations and cash sales as requested.
Works with Quality Control as needed for samples requested.
Completes Pre-Operational Checklist each day before operating lift. Reports all forklift damage or malfunction to supervisor.
Operates forklift always at a reasonable and prudent speed, watching closely for pedestrians or other motorized vehicles.
Operates forklift to load and unload trucks with finished goods moving between warehouses, to load finished goods for transport to customers, and to unload trucks with various cargoes.
Operates forklift to deliver oldest code date finished goods to order picking area.
Hand stacks cases of finished goods on pallet.
Maintains and reports accurately data for all merchandise movement.
Delivers incoming merchandise received by the warehouse to proper department.
Cleans floor of warehouse, trailers, loading docks, and exterior areas around warehouse. Keeps warehouse in a clean and orderly fashion.
Follows safety rules and company policies.
Other Duties
Performs duties of Order Puller and Warehouse Rework Laborer as needed.
Stoops and bends in some job tasks.
Participates in training, employee meetings, committees, project teams, etc. as appropriate.
Receives written or verbal instructions from supervisor on above tasks and performs other work as directed by supervisor.

Requirements:Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
High school plus additional training preferred. Math skills include addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and fractions. Ability to speak, read and write in English needed for job tasks. Certified forklift operator.

Forklift, Stretch Wrap Machine, Calculator, Air Hose, WMS computerized scanning equipment, Steel Toed Shoes.
Physical Demands
Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.
Walking: Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another.
Lifting: Raising objects from a lower to a high position or moving objects horizontally from position-to-position. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires the substantial use of the upper extremities and back muscles.
Pushing: Using upper extremities to press against something with steady force in order to thrust forward, downward or outward.
Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.
Hearing: Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make fine discriminations in sound.
Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
The worker is required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles.
The worker is required to have eye/hand/foot coordination to operate forklift.
Work Environment
Works inside warehouse and outside warehouse facilities subject to significant seasonal temperature variations. fumes from forklifts. Some contact with dust, oil, ink, and grease.
