Senior Talent Solutions Consultant – Aircraft Wire Bundle Assembly Designer Modis Engineering (Akkodis), Everett, WA Base Pay Range $60.00/hr – $85.00/hr (DOE) Summary Interface with external and internal customers to develop and maintain wire harness detail, installation, and bundle assembly. Create and coordinate solutions for 2D and 3D wire harness assembly designs and incorporate changes to design plans. Perform design change incorporation as required and provide support for less experienced engineers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Develop and maintain wire harness assembly design (wire harness assembly models and 2D formboard drawings). Perform assigned tasks meeting the organization’s expectations for quality, schedule and process compliance. Collaborate and coordinate with customers to develop design solutions. Confers with more experienced designers and other subject matter experts to develop solutions to complex problems. Identify the need for enhanced processes, methods, and tools and provide solutions. Apply program technical requirements to design work requirements, processes, and tasks. Design with optimization through commonality, cost, weight, producibility, and maintainability of design. Develop solutions to problems, which require ingenuity and innovation. Communicate and/or implement design solutions, incorporating design changes as needed. Ensure compliance with design requirements. Investigate and resolve design issues. Support analysis and design reviews. Communicate and facilitate the implementation of 2D and 3D wire harness physical design between internal and external customers. Participate in the common change process and engineering work statement definition. Adhere to safe work practices and contribute to the evolution of the health, safety, and environmental program and culture. Regular, predictable attendance is required. Other duties may be assigned. Education and/or Experience Technical associate’s degree in CAD design, Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent engineering discipline. 2–5 years experience in a design or engineering classification. 2 years CAD design (typical). 2 years Electrical/Mechanical design or installation. 1 year Aerospace industry experience. Knowledge/Skills Effective communication and teamwork. Latitude in determining technical solutions. Decision making applicable to job level and responsibilities. Proficient knowledge of engineering principles, theories, technologies, and concepts in assigned discipline. Working knowledge of configuration management. Understanding of product lifecycle management. Knowledge of fabrication/manufacturing processes for applicable designs. Understanding of design requirements flow, validation and compliance verification. Capable of resolving design issues by means of problem‑solving methodologies. 2D and 3D CAD design (e.g., CATIA, AutoCAD, Pro‑Engineer, Creo). Experience within Boeing Electrical design and knowledge of associated WBA design tools and processes. Knowledge of MS Office computer applications. Fluent in English (written and verbal).
