Overview: Join our dynamic team, where you will play a crucial role in vehicle maintenance, inventory management, and delivering exceptional service to our customers. As an Automotive Inventory Specialist, you will engage in various tasks including vehicle receiving and shipping, inventory scanning, and lot upkeep.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement processes as outlined in provided work instructions and standardized procedures.
• Collaborate with team members in problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist in training new associates under the guidance of experienced team members and managers.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to both internal and external clients.
• Maintain daily lot organization and security for display areas and active zones.
• Receive and secure vehicles delivered to CarMax.
• Prepare vehicle and title packets for distribution to other locations.
• Scan vehicles thoroughly to uphold accurate product status.
• Wash and clean customer returns and loaner vehicles.
• Perform front-lot washing tasks.
• Execute the Photo Station process efficiently.
• Drive vehicles to and from the lot for repairs and storage purposes.
• Provide auction support as needed.
• Ensure workplace cleanliness and organization following CarMax 5S standards.
• Complete additional tasks assigned by senior associates and management.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license, complying with CarMax DSEPS standards.
• Ability to read, interpret, and accurately document data.
• High School diploma or equivalent experience preferred.
• Ability to follow defined processes meticulously.
• Complete required Inventory Associate Workstation Certifications and assigned learning modules.
• Capable of lifting up to 50lbs safely.

Working Conditions: Expect a mix of indoor and outdoor environments, including exposure to noise and varying weather conditions. Flexible hours are required, with shifts that may include nights, weekends, and holidays. This role involves walking or standing for extended periods in a fast-paced and energetic setting. You will be required to wear CarMax-provided attire. Compliance with CarMax, O.S.H.A., and EPA standards is essential, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment.

Compensation: Hourly rate ranges from $21.48 to $23.90.
