Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Note: Technicians are expected to have sufficient personal tools to perform all job functions assigned. Borrow/sharing of personal tools is not encouraged.

- Mechanical Duties:

  • Perform body shop repair and replacement functions as assigned by Body Shop Manager in accordance with all standards, rules, policies, procedures, work orders, etc. as issued by the Manager
  • Abide by all attendance policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook
  • Keep work area clean and free of debris, including common work area such as the paint room, mixing room, etc. Ensure no open cans of paint, filters are properly cleaned after each use, etc. All debris properly disposed in the dumpster on a timely basis
  • Assist in the maintenance of all departmental equipment
  • Assist in the receiving/labelling by job/distributions of parts upon delivery
  • Assist in the movement/repositioning of vehicles in the lot to ensure efficient work-flow
  • Ensure compliance with all manufacturers recommended training and safety procedures & protocols
  • On a monthly basis, half day Saturday will be devoted to THOROUGH/DEEP cleaning of entire department
  • Any and all other tasks that reasonably fall within this function as directed by management

- Other duties and responsibilities:

  • Be fully informed of all company policies & procedures and adhere to same
  • Arrive to work on-time; clock out and in for lunch; obtain approval for time away from the job

Requirements:
  • Must possess and maintain a valid, unexpired drivers license.
  • Must possess and maintain a clean driving record.
