Position Description CGI Federal is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating IT systems and stakeholder needs. This role involves formulating IT systems to align with overall business and IT strategies, documenting user needs and project specifications, and facilitating the accomplishment of project activities and objectives. Your Future Duties And Responsibilities Review, analyze, and evaluate IT systems and stakeholder needs to ensure alignment with business and IT strategies. Formulate IT systems that meet stakeholder needs and align with overall business objectives. Apply analytical and technical skills to assist in implementing technology solutions. Document detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, project specifications, business process flows, and steps required to develop or modify processes. Create and assess performance measurements and other key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate project success. Develop workflows or perform workflow analysis to optimize business processes. Utilize knowledge of relational database concepts, unstructured data concepts (e.g., JSON, Parquet), SQL, and client-server concepts to support data analysis and technical solutions. Work with project teams to facilitate the accomplishment of project activities, providing technical support and data analysis. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met and deliverables are achieved. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience in reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating IT systems and stakeholder needs. Strong analytical and technical skills to assist in implementing technology solutions. Proficiency in documenting user needs, program functions, project specifications, and business process flows. Familiarity with relational database concepts, unstructured data concepts (e.g., JSON, Parquet), SQL, and client-server concepts. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Desired Qualifications Experience in workflow development and analysis. Knowledge of performance measurements and KPIs. Experience working with project teams to facilitate project activities and objectives.
