About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to take on a pivotal executive role, responsible for defining and executing the technology vision and strategy that drives the institution's operations and innovation in the global financial market. The CTO will lead digital transformation initiatives, oversee the integration of emerging technologies, and ensure the security and compliance of the technology infrastructure. This includes managing a large global team and budget, and being a key member of the executive team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in senior technology roles, deep technical expertise in financial technology, and a strategic, long-term approach to decision-making. Key responsibilities for the CTO at the company include developing and implementing an enterprise-wide technology strategy, leading research and development efforts, and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence within the technology teams. The role demands a leader with strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels, from the Board of Directors to external regulators and clients. The CTO will be expected to manage the technology budget effectively, align technology investments with business priorities, and ensure the technology brand of the company is elevated. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is typically required, with a Master's degree or relevant certifications often preferred, and a minimum of 10 years of experience in technology, particularly in the financial services industry.
