Location: UCHealth Parkview Medical Center, US:CO:Pueblo

Department: Medical Staff Services

FTE: Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Days

Pay: $36.19 - $54.28 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Summary: Participates in activities related to patient safety and quality programming. Measures, analyzes, and facilitates improvement in clinical performance and outcomes. Investigates occurrence reports and analyzes safety and quality trends.

Responsibilities:
  • Understands key clinical quality and patient safety measures. Promotes the use of appropriate measures for clinical and operational services.
  • Facilitates components of patient safety programs, incorporating industry best practices, and ensuring regulatory requirements are met.
  • Helps identify priorities for implementation of performance improvement plans related to quality metrics and patient safety opportunities.
  • Provides support to clinical and operational teams.
  • Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree relevant clinical field.
  • State licensure as Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, Speech Language Pathologist, Respiratory Therapist, Pharmacist, Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
  • 2 years of relevant clinical experience.
