CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER
Commercial General Contractor – Columbus, OH
Salary: 100,000–125,000 + Benefits + Bonus
A respected and growing commercial general contractor in Columbus is seeking a strong Project Manager to lead projects and support their expanding pipeline across Central Ohio.
About the Role
You will take full ownership of commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring safety, quality, schedule and budget performance. This role offers long-term growth and the chance to work on impactful projects across the region.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage day-to-day project operations across commercial builds
• Oversee schedules, budgets, RFIs, subcontracts, procurement and change management
• Work closely with superintendents, field teams and design partners
• Maintain and grow client relationships through exceptional delivery
• Lead project reporting, cost control and risk management
• Support estimating, early planning and preconstruction efforts
Ideal Background
• Experience managing commercial construction projects
• Knowledge of ground-up, tenant improvement, interiors or renovation work
• Strong communication, leadership and team coordination skills
• Proficiency with project management software such as Procore or similar
• Ability to manage multiple projects and drive successful outcomes
