Zachary Piper is seeking a Consulting Engineer (Splunk) - TS/SCI in the Oakton, Virginia area . The Consulting Engineer (Splunk) - TS/SCI will support secure government environments with a focus on Splunk dashboard creation, log analysis, and backend optimization. The Consulting Engineer (Splunk) - TS/SCI is onsite in Oakton, VA five days a week . Responsibilities Operationalize and visualize network insights in Splunk Create and tune alerts to escalate incidents to the Network Operations and Security Center (NOSC) Build custom dashboards for real-time situational awareness Mentor junior team members on Splunk and traffic analysis best practices Document monitoring and troubleshooting processes Assist with backend improvements for Splunk infrastructure as needed Requirements Active TS/SCI clearance Strong background in Splunk (dashboard creation, log review, backend optimization) Ability to work onsite in Oakton, VA five days a week Must be eligible to work in the United States Compensation $297,440–$323,440 annually Full comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and sick leave as required by law This job opens for applications on September 9, 2025.
