Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Conveyor Installation Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of systems and equipment, ensuring the highest quality standards while providing outstanding customer service. This position requires both technical expertise and strong interpersonal skills to excel in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot systems and equipment as per client specifications and industry standards.
  • Ensure proper usage and maintenance of tools and equipment, including diagnostic and power tools.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to explain installation processes, address concerns, and provide clear instructions.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to clients.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, maintaining a secure environment for yourself, colleagues, and clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and service schedules.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize efficiency and ensure project deadlines are met.

Requirements:

  • Basic customer service experience and willingness to represent the company to customers on site.
  • Able to pass a background screening and have a clean driving record.
  • Enthusiastic about furthering their skills through education and training.
  • Representing Force Building Services in their work ethic, appearance, tone, and completed product.
  • Must always conduct themselves with the utmost integrity.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work in various commercial settings and be on-call when needed.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment as needed.
  • Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for long periods of time.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Work Environment:

  • This role requires travel up to 100% of the time, traveling between cities frequently by plane or car.
  • Work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
  • May be required to work on-call and outside of regular business hours.
