Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cost Accountant to join our team in Aiken, SC. This role is responsible for a variety of costing and inventory activities and requires knowledge of cost accounting, manufacturing processes, US GAAP, and SAP best practices.

The ideal candidate is self-driven, analytical, and eager to contribute to a successful and growing organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the monthly closing and reporting process using SAP.

Classify and report production costs, including materials, labor, and overhead.

Support monthly variance analysis related to production costs and departmental expenses.

Assist in the execution of annual physical inventories.

Reconcile cycle count differences.

Support internal and external audit activities.

Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.
• Prior experience in manufacturing cost accounting is preferred.
• SAP experience strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, PivotTables, etc.).
• Ability to work independently with strong initiative.
