We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Fairfax, Virginia. In this role, you will work on-site, contributing to essential data entry tasks within a medical environment. This position offers a one-week assignment with potential for extension based on performance.

Responsibilities:
• Accurately input medical diagnoses and related information into the internal system.
• Update and maintain files to ensure data is current and complete.
• Enter various types of medical information with precision and attention to detail.
• Review and correct grammatical errors in entered data.
• Utilize typing skills to efficiently process high volumes of information.
• Learn and navigate the internal medical software system effectively.
• Ensure compliance with data entry standards and procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to address any discrepancies in records.
• Deliver high-quality results within tight deadlines.• Minimum of 1 year of experience in data entry or a similar role.
• Proficiency in typing and data entry with strong accuracy.
• Familiarity with 10-key typing skills.
• Competence in using Office applications, including Word and Excel.
• Excellent grammar and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to new software systems quickly.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working on-site in a business casual environment.
