Job Description

Araceli Biosciences is looking for a motivated and creative Digital Marketing Specialist Intern to join our team for the summer. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience across various aspects of digital marketing, including content creation, campaign execution, SEO, and analytics. Araceli Biosciences makes cellular imaging microscopes used in drug discovery and research. Our products are the fastest high content imaging microscopes in the world. Customers of Araceli are some of the world's top biologists and scientists who are using our hardware and software tools to drive cutting edge research in drug and therapeutic discovery. The ideal candidate for the Digital Marketing Specialist role is a digital native with a passion for storytelling, data-driven marketing, and innovative problem solving. 

This internship may be extended into a part-time or full-time contract role based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing digital marketing campaigns (email, social media, paid ads).
• Create, schedule, and publish engaging content across platforms (LinkedIn, X, etc.).
• Conduct keyword research and optimize website content for SEO.
• Help manage website updates using CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress).
• Monitor and report on campaign performance using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
• Research industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging tools/technologies.
• Support internal team with digital asset management and marketing calendar coordination.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with digital marketing tools (e.g., Canva, Salesforce, Mailchimp, LinkedIn Ads).
• Basic knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics is a plus.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
• Creative thinking and willingness to learn and take initiative.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Graphic design skills (Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Experience with CMS or website builders.
• Video editing or animation tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere).
• Exposure to B2B marketing or biotech/healthcare industry is a bonus.
• Experience in the field of biology, chemistry, or related scientific field
