Job Description
We're looking for a motivated individual to join our team as an Electric Motor Mechanic . This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn new skills. While experience is a plus, we're prepared to train the right person from the ground up. If you're hands-on, detail-oriented, and enjoy troubleshooting, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
Disassemble, inspect, and repair various types of electric motors, pumps, and related equipment.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, identifying root causes and determining the best course of action.
Perform maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and testing motor components.
Operate specialized equipment like micrometers, multimeters, and growlers to ensure precision and accuracy.
Rewind and reassemble motors, ensuring all parts are correctly installed and aligned.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
Document repair and maintenance procedures, including parts used and time spent on each job.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Helpful skillsets - MIG Welding, Managerial experiences, Bridgeport Mill exp., Manual Lathes, etc.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
A keen willingness and eagerness to learn new technical skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and stand for extended periods.
A valid driver's license is a plus.
