If you are looking for an opportunity to grow your career at a well-established tax firm this is it! Western Sierra Business Services is currently searching for a talented Enrolled Agent or CTEC preparer.
Applicants preferably would have a current EA or CTEC license as well as 2 years active tax preparation experience with personal, corporate, and partnership returns. Quickbooks experience and a solid understanding of financial statements is essential. A background or experience in bookkeeping is preferred, but not mandatory as the position may also assist with bookkeeping during the off season.
Here at Western Sierra your job won’t stop at tax preparation. Off season, you will also be able to participate in tax planning for small businesses and individuals which helps our clients minimize their taxes, and maximize their potential to accumulate wealth.
We have the flexibility to offer a full time position that is year round. Because we deal mostly with business clients, we are always busy.

The position is in office, Monday through Friday from 9-5 during off season, and Monday through Saturday from 9-6 as a minimum during tax season (Feb-April 15th) as well as opportunities for overtime.
A Bachelor's degree is preferred, but not required if the candidate has at least 2-3 years experience.
