We are seeking a godly, passionate, and gifted individual to serve as our Family Pastor. This role will be responsible for overseeing and further developing our churchs ministry to children, youth, and families. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader who is committed to equipping parents to disciple their children to follow Christ.

Under the leadership and vision of the Senior Pastor, the Family Pastor will:

• Provide strategic leadership for the further development and implementation of age?appropriate ministries for children, youth, and families.
• Oversee the childrens ministry and the youth ministry. Both Childrens and Youth Ministry leadership will report to the Family Pastor.
• Help recruit, train, and supervise a dedicated team of children and youth workers.
• Encourage and motivate children and youth volunteers, and create a culture of
  encouragement.
• Help the Senior Pastor coach parents in the discipleship of their own children per Deuteronomy 6:4?9, and to disciple fathers in particular to carry out Ephesians 6:4.
• Provide pastoral marital and family counseling as needed for church members.
• Minister to families and children in crisis.
• Assist the other pastors with the shepherding and oversight needs of the church.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong personal walk with the Lord
• Strong marriage and family
• Education level: Masters Degree (preferred) from an evangelical seminary
• Agreement with the SBC Baptist Faith & Message 2000
• Passion for family discipleship and investing in other men
• 5?10 years of experience in ministry preferred
• Commitment to a vision of becoming a family?equipping church
• Missional outlook. Supportive of the churchs outreach and international mission vision
• Excel at encouraging and motivating others
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle and mediate conflict according to biblical peacemaking principles
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities

Salary $65,000?$83,000
