Job Details

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Physician/Medical Director to join our dynamic healthcare team. This is a permanent, full-time position where the successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive healthcare services to patients ages 3+. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to function effectively within a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary team environment.

Responsibilities:
1. Provide comprehensive and continuous primary care to a diverse population of patients, including children and adults
2. Develop, implement, and monitor patient care plans and adjust as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
3. Perform regular physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines.
4. Diagnose and treat a wide variety of medical conditions, referring patients to specialists as necessary.
5. Direct and coordinate activities of nurses, students, assistants, specialists, therapists, and other medical staff.
6. Collaborate with other physicians, clinicians, and healthcare professionals to form a high performing medical team.
7. Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at improving patient care and healthcare delivery systems.
8. Stay current with the latest developments in family medicine through continuous professional development and education.
9. Serve as a role model and mentor to staff and medical students, fostering a culture of learning, respect, and compassion.

Qualifications:
1. Medical Degree (MD) from an accredited institution.
2. Board certification in Family Medicine or related specialty.
3. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical setting, with proven leadership or management experience.
4. Current, valid license to practice medicine in the state.
5. Strong clinical skills with an emphasis on disease prevention and health promotion.
6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
7. Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and continuous quality improvement.
8. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
9. Proficiency with electronic medical records and healthcare IT systems.
10. Commitment to adhering to the highest ethical standards and professional conduct.
