Job Title: Cleanroom Technician $19.50 an hour

3rd shift: 7pm-7am

Job Description

The Cleanroom Technician will be responsible for preparing the wipes area for production in a highly regulated environment. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that production runs smoothly and safely by managing and loading paper spools, handling waste materials, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the production floor.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the wipes area for production.
• Load paper spools into the production line for conversion into cut wipes.
• Maintain cleanliness and handle trash and cardboard to ensure smooth and safe production operations.
• Calculate accurate tallies and documentations during loading, unloading, and warehousing processes.
• Inspect equipment daily and report defects to management.
• Maintain an efficient product flow throughout the warehouse operations.
• Provide support to production lines with material requests.
• Ensure accurate and legible paperwork to maintain a precise database.
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of all inventories daily.
• Operate the Radio Frequency Gun for movement, barcoding, and inventory purposes.
• Assist with repackaging and labeling operations when necessary.
• Adhere to all safety rules and use proper safety equipment at all times.
• Ensure the quality of palletized products and store them according to warehouse policies and procedures.
• Assist in performing preventative maintenance.
• Document any issues and product changes accurately and legibly.
• Follow the proper procedures for Lock Out Tag policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

• General production skills.
• Experience in cleanroom and packaging processes.
• Skills in inspection, production, assembly, and general labor.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong motivation and good work history.
• Desire to prove oneself and advance within the company.

Work Environment

The work environment is exceptionally clean, requiring safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toed boots. A full white suit, along with hair and beard nets, will be provided. The role is fast-paced, with most of the 12-hour shift spent standing to monitor spools, which usually need changing once per shift.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mc Elhattan, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.50/hr.
