Job Summary:

In this full-time, on-site role , the Graphic Artist is responsible for creating graphic files for the digital imaging process that meet customer specifications and visual requirements. The candidate must be adept and at ease working with internal and external customers to create designs that delight them and are possible to achieve in the production process. Creativity, flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to learn quickly in technical and creative environments, while delivering quality work within tight deadlines are required in this role. Photography is a large part of this role for both digital libraries and end-use for social.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Develop physical samples using the Infused Imaging™ process, to customer specifications

· Sample logistics: support and management of Infused Imaging™ samples, inventory, and shipping

· Professionally collaborate on projects with internal and external customers to develop their design visions

· Demonstrate exceptional creative skills under tight deadlines

· Work within multiple file types, graphic technologies, and customer demands within the parameters of manufacturability

· Prepare digital or process-ready files for Infused Imaging™

· Troubleshoot and resolve challenges in the imaging production process

· Develop and deploy expert knowledge of KYDEX ® and ALLEN ® material and allied products

· Create and send properly branded online soft proofs

· Assist with content development and maintenance for designLab ®’s web presence

· Manage photo library in reference to production materials and samples

· Remain up to date on photography and graphic design trends to provide new approaches to monthly photo sessions

· Sharpened knowledge of photo retouching, manipulation, color correction and touch-ups using Adobe Suite

· Successfully manage multiple projects concurrently

· Maintain confidentiality of all information

· Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design with 2 years of related experience or,

· Associate’s degree in Graphic Design with 4 years of related experience

· Equivalent experience of at least 6 years in role related progression in lieu of a degree

· Advanced training in:

o Adobe Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign

o Microsoft Suite: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint

· Understanding of:

o File formats, resolution, and file parameters influencing outcomes

o CMYK and RGB color spaces

o Color profiling systems

· Strong organizational & project management skills and the ability to work well independently.

· Excellent color acuity

· Ability to take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them seamlessly into images, layouts, and other designs.

· Proven ability to m ultitask, work under time constraints, problem solve, and prioritize.

· work in a fast-paced environment under strict deadlines.

· Ability to take constructive feedback and turn it into positive action.

· Able to work on-site at our Bloomsburg facilities to successfully fulfil expectations of the role.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· Maintain high-quality studio photography using digital DSLR camera, lighting, photography equipment, set design and model posing

· HTML knowledge a plus

· Ability to anticipate risks in scope and can successfully navigate ambiguity

· Strong essential skills including high emotional intelligence

· Is curious and agile while engaging in new experiences and looking for different perspectives

· Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description

· Support and contribute to Lean Sigma programs and activities towards delivery of the set target

· Able to always comply with the company’s safety policy

· Able to always comply with the company’s quality policy

Travel Requirements:

· Must be able to travel up to 5% of the time, as necessary. Travel consists of commuting between campuses as needed.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

· Light – exerting up to 25lbs/11kg of force frequently, and/or negligible amount of force frequently constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg control requires exertion of force greater than that of sedentary work and if the worker sits most of the time, the job is considered light work.

· Possesses a r efined attention to detail . Must exhibit artistic sensibility, knowledge of design elements, and artistic ability and creativity

· Ability to read and interpret documents and communicate professionally in writing and verbally

· Proven ability to work in-person and in a virtual environment in a global organization and to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

· Works well independently and in teams. Engages others, builds relationships, and creates networks outside team. Checks in with different people to understand the bigger picture.

· Expected to make independent and sound judgments.
