Our client, a leading logistics provider, is seeking Forklift and High Reach Forklift Operators to join their team. You will be part of the warehouse operations supporting efficient product handling and storage. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Forklift and High Reach Forklift Operators
Location: Swedesboro, NJ
Pay Range: $18-$22/hr.
What's the Job? - Safely drive a forklift; perform basic operations such as driving forward and backwards, lifting, and lowering the boom while adhering to all safety regulations.
- Work with a racking system, loading and unloading pallets, and maximizing storage by stacking vertically.
- Utilize an electronic Warehouse Management System to manage and control inventory effectively.
- Maintain a safe and orderly storage area for products while ensuring cleanliness of the assigned area.
- Inspect all incoming products for damage and sort inbound boxes by type.
What's Needed? - High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-year forklift and/or 1-year High Reach forklift experience in a warehouse environment required
- Ability to lift a maximum of 80 pounds
- Strong work ethic, communication skills in English and ability to communicate clearly
- Able to work in cold conditions that range from -1*F up to 45*F
