Job Overview This position involves providing 24/7 coverage within the State HIM NPPA practice. The role is based in Mankato with responsibilities including day/night admissions, cross coverage, and travel to various sites across Minnesota such as Fairmont, Waseca, St. James, New Prague, Austin, Red Wing, Cannon Falls, and others. Lodging is provided at each site during travel. NPs/PAs will work as independent providers, collaborating with on-site physicians to care for patients on medical/surgical floors. Responsibilities include completing admissions, assessments, diagnostics, prescribing medications, referrals, and patient education. Training will be provided regionally, with additional instruction in Rochester and Southwest MN.
