Job Description: We are HIRING for a Live-In Maid/ Housekeeper/ Cook/ Butler/ Laundress couple position. Official employment through the payroll service.$52K-$55K/year for a couple (2 people) (DOE), plus room and board (guest house, utilities, food, laundry and cleaning supplies). MUST HAVE a driver's license and own transportation. MUST BE around 40-60 YEARS OLD, no younger. Preferably a couple (husband and wife). Legal to work in US. Nodrugs. References, background and drug test required. About us: B and A. No kids. 2 Shih Tzu dogs. You will live in a guest house. No kids and visitors are allowed. No animals. This role is responsible for the daily housekeeping of a private estate. A candidate with at least 1 year of Live-in or Live-out housekeeping experience with proven longevity in previous positions. This is a full-time (48 hrs/ week, live-in position for a private family in Naples, Florida. Responsibilities: Housekeeping skills. Cleaning a variety of surfaces including dusting, vacuuming, and mopping. Participate in detailed project cleaning daily, weekly, monthly. Perform nightly turn down service. Laundry skills. Willing and able to achieve the same quality that the principals have come to expect. Familiarity with general clothing care. Willing and able to read labels to properly care for a very expensive wardrobe. Light cooking skills. Comfortable in the kitchen. Willing and able to take direction in the kitchen to prepare simple meals or snacks, if needed. Serve drinks and snacks to the pool, as necessary. Dog care. Willing to feed, play, and participate in the nightly routine for multiple small dogs Ad-hoc and re-occurring tasks as necessary. Job Requirements: Must be able to speak and understand English. Professional appearance and a KIND, HAPPY demeanor with guests, and principals. Understand the need for a quiet presence, discreet, and complete confidentiality. This is a job. We are the employers. We don't watch TV news together and don't discuss politics or our life with you, unless we invite you to the conversation. We don't need a companion or your entertainment. Willingness to take on any task no matter how big or how small. Able to perform repetitive tasks and meet the required standard every time. Ability to clean around the principals in a manner in which does not interfere with their daily life. Able to manage time even when unsupervised. Physically able and willing to complete all tasks, as a full charge housekeeper including the ability to bend and kneel to access low surfaces. Eye for detail - a clear vision of the end result and willing to achieve this. Dog friendly including understanding the importance that the dogs are cared for according to the principals wishes Other: Hours of the position are approximately 8 hrs/ day, from 10am-2pm, and 3:30pm-7:30pm, Tuesdays-Saturdays. 2 days off on Sundays and Mondays, unless we are on vacation and you are taking care of our dogs daily. Must possess a valid Driver's License and a reliable car for shopping and running errands. If offered a position, candidates will be required to successfully complete a drug screening and background investigative check. In addition, the Principals maintain a drug-free working environment.
