As part of the talented Information Security team, we are seeking a Senior Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer with deep expertise in Okta and modern authentication technologies. In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of Okta password-less authentication solutions across Windows, Mac, and Linux environments. You will be responsible for integrating Okta with a broad range of applications and systems (cloud platforms, SaaS, on-premises, and custom-built apps), ensuring seamless and secure access for users. This senior position requires a strong background in authentication/authorization protocols, identity governance, and privileged access management, as well as excellent scripting and automation skills. The ideal candidate will combine hands-on technical know-how with strategic thinking to enhance our IAM capabilities while meeting high security and compliance standards. Essential Functions include designing, implementing, and managing Okta’s passwordless authentication solutions; integrating Okta with cloud infrastructure, enterprise SaaS applications, on-premises systems, and custom apps; implementing and supporting modern IAM protocols such as OIDC/OAuth 2.0, SAML 2.0, LDAP, and Kerberos; serving as the Okta subject matter expert for administration and optimization; collaborating with Identity Governance and PAM teams; enforcing IAM best practices and compliance with standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS; developing automation scripts; troubleshooting complex IAM issues; mentoring junior engineers; and maintaining documentation and strategy development. Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 5+ years in IAM with at least 3 years hands-on Okta experience, strong scripting skills in PowerShell and Python, and proven expertise in Okta Identity Cloud and passwordless authentication implementations. Preferred qualifications include Okta certification, familiarity with SailPoint and CyberArk, strong knowledge of security and compliance frameworks, excellent problem-solving and communication skills, and adaptability to fast-paced environments. The role offers a salary range of $100,900 - $160,800 annually plus discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits.
