• At Union Beer Distributors, part of the Sheehan Family Companies, we are energetic, diverse, competitive, and growing. We're looking for a German market specialist who is passionate about premium brands, understands the hospitality landscape in Manhattan, and thrives in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment.
• This is a full-time, territory-based role focused on account development, brand representation, and customer relationship management.
• Territory: Manhattan
• Total Compensation (including bonuses): $55,000–$60,700/year

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a consistent schedule of in-person account visits each week
• Build and strengthen relationships with current and prospective accounts
• Champion our portfolio of world-class German and European brands
• Increase brand visibility and grow distribution within bars, restaurants, and hotels
• Identify and convert new on-premise opportunities
• Execute account-level promotions and events
• Ensure accurate merchandising and POS materials in all accounts
• Meet monthly/quarterly sales and distribution goals
• Support timely collections of Accounts Receivable as per NY State Law
• Assist customers with inquiries around products, delivery, credit, etc.

What You’ll Bring

• Minimum 2 years of on-premise sales experience in the beer industry (Manhattan strongly preferred)
• Lived in Germany for 5+ years, with deep knowledge of German culture and drinking customs
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Fluent in English
• Proficient with VIP software (2+ years) and Google/Microsoft Suite
• Hospitality management experience is a plus
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented
• Able to obtain a NY State Solicitor’s Permit
