Position: Machine Operator Industry: Steel & Manufacturing Salary: $20+/hour Schedule: 1st Shift (5:00 AM – 4:00 PM) Contract Type: Temporary to Hire Position Overview: We are looking for candidate(s) with experience in a continuous process machining environment with a strong focus on Quality and Teamwork to join the team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Strong work history with at least 2-3 years of experience. Responsibilities:Continuous process machining environment. Work with hand tools and power tools. Proficient in the use of precision gages Load, stack, and transport stock, tool, and work in process by hand or crane. The ideal candidate will possess:Ability to read and understand blueprints Motivated, detail oriented and the ability to perform as a team player Good reading and math skills Strong analytical skills, mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity High school education or GED Able to read, write, and speak English Strong communication and interpersonal skills As part of our promise to talent, Kelly supports those who work with us through a variety of benefits, perks, and work-related resources.
