Ecolab, a leader in manufacturing and production, is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machine Operator

Location: Swannanoa, NC

Pay Range: $17

Shift: Days (06:00 AM - 04:00 PM, Lunch: 12:00 PM - 12:30 PM)

What's the Job?

• Inspect workpieces for defects and measure workpieces to ensure accuracy using rules, templates, or other measuring instruments.
• Observe machine operation to detect workpiece defects or malfunctions, making adjustments as necessary.
• Read blueprints or job orders to determine product specifications and tooling instructions, planning operational sequences accordingly.
• Set up and operate various machines such as lathes, cutters, shears, borers, millers, grinders, presses, and drills to produce metallic and plastic workpieces.
• Perform minor machine maintenance, including oiling, cleaning, and adding coolant, and notify supervisors of major repairs needed.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0-2 years of related experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of machines and tools, including their design, use, repair, and maintenance.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
