Description We are hiring Patient Escorts to join a leading medical center in Houston, TX. This is a part-time, on-site opportunity for individuals with strong customer service skills and a compassionate approach to patient care. As a Patient Escort, you will assist in safely transporting patients via wheelchair or stretcher throughout the hospital campus. Key Responsibilities: S afely escort patients to and from their appointments using wheelchairs or stretchers Sanitize transport equipment before and after each use using hospital protocol Accurately complete disinfection and tracking logs, including patient MRN, transport time, equipment details, etc. Provide courteous and professional assistance to patients and caregivers Follow equipment checklists and mobility safety procedures Navigate independently throughout the medical campus Push wheelchairs/stretchers carrying patients weighing 200 lbs or more Requirements: Education: High school diploma or equivalent Experience: Minimum 1 year of patient care and/or customer service experience Ability to push 200 lbs or more safely and consistently Preferred: Experience in a hospital or clinical environment Strong interpersonal and communication skills A professional and empathetic demeanor Shift & Compensation: Part-time schedules (shifts to be discussed) Competitive hourly pay Education: High School Compunnel
