Hourly Pay Range:
$19.31 - $28.00 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
Position Highlights: - Position: Phlebotomist -Outpatient
- Locations: Rotating locations including 303 W. Lake St, #100 Addison, 130 S. Main St, 1st flr Lombard and 172 Schiller St., Elmhurst
- FTE: Part-time (0.5 FTE)
- Hours: Working (2) 8 hour shifts/week; Start times between 7am-8:30am; Every other Saturday 6am-3:30pm; Sunday and Holiday rotations
What you will do :
- Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures prepares, collects, logs and labels specimens for testing.
- Performs pre-analytical processing/ordering of specimens arriving in the lab.
- Registers patient information and orders laboratory tests in the computer system.
- Arranges specimens for further processing by Laboratory staff.
What you will need: - High School Diploma or GED or higher
- Current CPR (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Valid Illinois Driver's License and auto insurance
- Completion of a phlebotomy training program including 100 hours of on-site clinical site training
- Phlebotomy certification, preferred
