This role involves providing advanced outpatient malignant hematology care, including management of patients with leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, and related disorders. The position includes monitoring patients before and after stem cell transplants and supporting new therapies such as CAR-T and BiTE. The practitioner collaborates within a multidisciplinary cancer care team at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center to deliver comprehensive oncology services and participate in research initiatives.

Desirable skillset includes familiarity with malignant hematology, caring for patients with leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, myeloproliferative disorders, etc. Will be responsible for monitoring patients pre and post Stem Cell Transplant as well.
The program is looking to expand into offering CAR-T and BiTE therapy in the near future.
Candidate should have experience with or be willing to be trained in Bone Marrow biopsies and Ommaya access/IT chemo administration.
Predominately Malignant heme focused but would be expected to see some solid tumor/benign heme patients as needed.
