POSITION SUMMARY
The City of St. Charles, MN, is accepting applications for the position of fulltime Police Officer.
Applicants must be MN POST Board licensed or eligible to be licensed by the date of hire.

Salary ranges from $65,998.40 - $82,492.80 depending on qualifications plus excellent benefits,
which includes a fully funded Health Savings Account by the employer. Most Officers currently
work 12-hr shifts, with every other weekend off, and occasional shift variance depending on
needs.

The SCPD strongly believes each Officer has something important to contribute to the team,
thus offering numerous training opportunities and special assignments such as Use of Force
Instructor, Firearms Instructor, Less-Lethal Weapons Instructor, Towards Zero Deaths (TZD),
Drug Recognition Expert (DRE), Field Training Officer (FTO), Project Life Saver Coordinator,
and Police Reserve Officer Coordinator.
