Crane Currency has an immediate position opening for a Power Plant Operator in Dalton, MA . Must be able to work 12-hour day shift and 12-hour night shifts on a rotating basis. We offer 15% shift differential when working nights and 20% differential if your shift lands on a weekend. Plus, double time on Sundays!
The pay rate is based off the type of license you currently have (Must have at least 2nd class fireman). Crane will offer in house training to obtain advanced licenses and pay you more for it!

How you will make an impact:
The Power Plant Boiler Operator will be responsible for the operation of all power plant equipment ensuring the continuous generation of steam and electricity to the plant. This includes the startup and shutdown of boilers, turbines, and feed water pumps. Communication is important with key personnel on the status of the Crane central steam delivery system. In addition, the Boiler Operator must be competent in administering the feed water testing program. This is a rotating shift position that will also require the ability to work weekends and overtime.
