The Production Manager reports directly to the SpeedPro studio owner and plays a critical role in the franchises profit and margin potential through outstanding performance in fast turn-around times, high-quality product output, and efficiency with materials to minimize waste.
Functions: - Manage day-to-day production operations, including printing, cutting, laminating, finishing, and quality control
- Oversee job scheduling, workflow prioritization, and on-time delivery of projects
- Ensure customer files are print-ready, accurate, and production-ready including providing digital proofs to customers for final approval
- Graphic design services (unless outsourced)
- Operate and maintain wide-format printers, laminators, plotters, and other finishing equipment
- Ensure all products meet SpeedPro quality standards and customer expectations.
- Manage/conduct inventory and order supplies as needed
- Collaborate with the sales and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution
- Hire, train, and supervise production staff as needed
- Smaller graphic installations
- Unloading/unpacking deliveries to the studio
- Vehicle inspections and measurements; performing site surveys
- Packing, labeling, and shipping completed jobs; making deliveries
- Utilization of CoreBridge software for estimates/quotes
- Enforce safety standards and maintain a clean, organized workspace
Ideal candidates will also possess: - 2+ years of designing/working with vehicle graphics and templates
- Experience with large-format printers, laminators, plotters, and graphic and signage finishing
- Associate or Bachelors Degree in graphic design (or similar program)
