Initiates authorization requests with insurance companies and government payers and obtains the necessary documentation. Communicate and report to case management any insurance related issues for order fulfillment. Monitors outstanding authorization requests and initiates follow up of authorizations in a timely manner. Assists with insurance changes when prior authorizations are needed. Manages phone calls related to prior authorizations. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education: Graduate of an accredited high school or GED equivalence.
