Philadelphia Couples Therapy is a woman-founded, owned and led, doctoral-level group private practice geared toward a twofold mission: creating a professional environment for clinicians that is supportive, collaborative, and ultimately a place to call work home, and providing the best support possible for couples in all phases and stages of romantic development.

Clinicians will see both individuals and couples, and for those who are interested, run groups. Clinicians can also administer both couples and individual assessments, which is a gratifying way to diversify your professional life. Our cutting edge couples treatment team is sustained through extensive consultation, supervision, and training of clinicians in addition to just plain old enjoyment of the workplace.

Our suite is in the historic Wells Fargo building on the 22nd floor with expansive views of the Delaware River, a space that provides a warm and inviting clinical environment for our clinicians to spend the day. At our practice, clinicians can focus solely on their clientswe take care of the rest. We handle all billing, insurance, and intake scheduling, and provide a consistent flow of referrals so theres no need for marketing. Clinicians receive highly competitive pay and benefits, weekly individual supervision with the Clinical Director, group case consultation, and the support of a warm, collaborative teamall in a thoughtfully designed, beautiful office space.

Minimum requirements:

  • Doctorate in psychology from an APA-accredited program (PhD, PsyD)
  • Licensed in PA or working toward licensure
  • Interest in couples work and at least three years of adult individual outpatient therapy experience. No couples therapy experience required - we will train you!
  • Prepared to wholly and thoughtfully dive into a full-time position (25 scheduled clinical hours per week or more, 20+ seen)
  • Passionate about doing therapy and persistently deepening clinical and theoretical knowledge
  • Personally growth and insight-oriented
  • Deeply interested in working collaboratively in a treatment team model

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $72 - $145/hour, depending on both tenure and number of clients seen per week
  • $3000 signing bonus
  • 10 to 15 days of PTO yearly depending on tenure and 3 floating holidays
