Position Overview

Seeking a dedicated and compassionate MedSurg/Telemetry RN to join our nursing team. This full-time night shift role offers competitive pay, a supportive environment, and the opportunity to provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced medical-surgical/telemetry unit.

Key Details

• Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Schedule: 3×12-hour shifts per week (36 hours) + every other weekend/holiday
• Patient Ratio: 1:5
• Experience Preferred: 2 years MedSurg/Telemetry nursing experience
• Licensure: Rhode Island RN license or Compact license preferred
• Salary Range: $65,201 – $89,856 annually
• Weekly Range: $1,253.88 – $1,728.00

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the MedSurg/Telemetry unit
• Monitor patients’ conditions, administer medications, and manage IVs
• Interpret and respond to telemetry monitoring
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective care
• Document patient care accurately in EMR systems
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions

Qualifications

• Current RN license (RI or Compact preferred)
• 2 years MedSurg/Telemetry nursing experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
