Job Description
Our client is seeking a Scrum Master with a background in systems and infrastructure.
This is a 6-month contract opportunity that is hybrid to downtown Chicago.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as Scrum Master for two engineering teams consisting of engineers, a product owner, and a technical lead
- Facilitate all formal Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, reviews, etc.)
- Collaborate closely with the Lead Scrum Master and participate in Scrum of Scrums
- Support quarterly planning and execution cycles
- Promote Agile best practices and continuous improvement within the teams
- Remove impediments and foster a culture of accountability and transparency
- Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and delivery
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong understanding of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or similar enterprise Agile methodologies
- Background in systems and infrastructure, particularly in cloud environments
- Experience supporting platform engineering teams
- Familiarity with enterprise-level planning and coordination
Pay: 70-75/hr W2
