Purpose

The TIE Semiconductor Software Engineer is responsible for creating software solutions for internal business process workflow, ETL processes, and the creation of a data exchange layer to integrate multiple onpremise and cloudbased software packages. This is an industryfocused position, not research oriented.

Responsibilities

  • Full Stack Application Responsibilities
  • Relational database schemas and schema optimization
  • Develop software to achieve TIEs mission.
  • Consult with staff and leaders to fulfill requirements for data security, IT services, and software integration.
  • Integrate data from semiconductor manufacturing equipment into workflows and other software packages.
  • Extract, transform and load data from various data sources, such as, but not limited to database or flat files.
  • Facilitate the implementation of engineering changes throughout product lifecycle.
  • Review existing processes and enhance them.
  • Train users as needed.
  • Other duties: The Semiconductor Software Engineer will be given project, activities, duties or other responsibilities according to the growth of the TIE organization and its mission.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree and at least two years of experience in software development, including one year of experience working on complex systems.
  • One year of system administration experience.
  • Experience with C# and at least one other programming language.
  • Experience with PowerShell.
  • Experience with Linux/Unix (AIX, HPUX, Solaris, Ubuntu, RedHat, other POSIXcompliant OS).
  • Be able to wear a bunny suit and enter a clean room.
  • Effective Troubleshooting Skills.
  • Efficient Communication Skills.

Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MCSA or SQL Server MCSE SQL Server.
  • Significant Equivalent Experience may be substituted for certifications and education.
  • Experience in the semiconductor industry.

Salary Range

$105,500 + depending on qualifications

Work Shift

Occasional work over 40 hours per week may be necessary.
