The Senior Clinical Specialist works under general direction providing advanced engineering, sales, educational and technical support in response to complex field inquiries involving Electrophysiology (EP) products. The role involves a high degree of independence, using effective and cost-efficient business practices. Responsibilities include acting as a senior clinical interface between the medical community and the business, building credible business relationships, identifying customer needs and sales opportunities, providing clinical support and training on EP products, mentoring less experienced Clinical Specialists, and assisting with advanced educational seminars and product demonstrations. The position requires continuous development of engineering, sales, and technical skills, staying current on industry trends, and resolving problems to prevent recurrence. The role requires a minimum of 1 year in the previous position, at least 3 years of clinical experience, IBHRE EP certification, and the ability to perform complex cases solo and mentor others. The job involves 50% travel and requires compliance with vendor credentialing requirements including COVID-19 vaccination unless accommodation is requested.
