Journeyman/Senior Commercial HVAC Service Technician at Sunstate Mechanical Services

Shift : Monday – Friday. Hours may vary between 5am-4pm (Some rotation of on call shifts, nights and weekends) 

Hourly Rate: $35-$50 (DOE) 

Location : Office Location is 2507 W. Erie Dr., Suite 103 Tempe, AZ 85282.  This job does require travelling across the greater Phoenix Area (sites will vary based on the job)

Requirements :

• You  must be 18 years old.
• You  must be eligible to work in the U.S
• You must be able to pass a drug test.
• You  must be able to pass a motor vehicle history check.
• For safety reasons, you  must  be able to speak English.
• You  must have your own tool kit.
• A pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check are required.
• Able to lift up to 50lbs.
• 5+ years of experienced preferred 

Job Duties :

As you might expect, HVAC Service is at the heart of what your job will entail. For the most part, you’ll be:

• Preventative maintenance and troubleshooting for rooftop units, Humidifiers, packaged Air Conditioners, Refrigerated Air Dryers, and control systems.
• Working with Chillers, Cooling Towers, Hot Water/Steam Boilers, Condensers/Chilled Water Pumps and Exhaust Fans regularly.
• Variable Frequency Drives, Computer Room AC Equipment, Air Handling/Fan Coil Units and Air Compressors will also be a big part of your workload.
• Installing commercial units
• Responsible for teaching apprentices
• Additional duties as required
