We also own and operate event properties across the professional and collegiate sports landscape, focused on sports including basketball, football, golf, pickleball, and volleyball.
Intersport Golfs portfolio includes the most successful first year event in PGA TOUR history, the Rocket Classic; creator of THE JOHN SHIPPEN, the first Black mens and womens professional invitational that awards exemptions into PGA TOUR and LPGA Tour events; founder/owner of a white-glove hospitality facility called The Double Eagle Club in Augusta, GA; creator/operator of the Skechers World Champions Cup supporting Shriners Childrens, the first global team event for the most elite players on the PGA TOUR Champions; and is the lead operator and producer of the highly coveted, NCAA Division 1 event, the Jackson T. Stephens Cup.
The Position Intersport is seeking to add a smart and driven Manager, Partner Management to its Golf team. The Manager will have a focus on the World Champions Cup and other ancillary golf properties/projects, and be responsible for ensuring the flawless execution and fulfillment of all contracted marketing rights and benefits to corporate partners while providing strategic, creative, and responsive client management and service to partners. As such, the right candidate will have experience in both sponsorship and experiential/event marketing as well as experience in business operations such as legal and finance processes and procedures The right candidate must possess a consultative approach to client management and be able to detail success in having successfully managed corporate partners with six, and seven-figure sponsorship (annual fee) agreements, as well as managing a small team.

Partner Management & Communication
- Lead and set an example for responsive and astute management and support of the Golf properties corporate partner clients
- Support the development and ideation of a comprehensive sales prospecting and renewal strategy for all partners
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding and a passion for his/her corporate partner clients industries, businesses, consumers and brands, including an understanding of their competitive set and industry
- Maintain a comprehensive and detailed knowledge of each partner clients rights and benefits (i.e. contractual assets) inclusive of delivery status and related project management and corresponding communications
- Establish himself/herself as a trusted strategic business partner and go to resource for both the partner client and internal partnership sales team members
- Demonstrate leadership and presence in all partner client interaction meetings, calls/video conferences, correspondence, etc.
- Lead coordination and administration of regular conference calls
- Actively contribute in brainstorming and idea generation sessions to conceptualize and develop new and enhanced activation platforms for current and prospective partners
Program & Project Management
- Create and maintain administrative documents in a clear, concise and detailed manner for client and agency backup including points of view, recaps, reporting, agendas, and timelines
- Manage and oversee the creative and production briefing process
- In collaborate with partnership sales colleagues, provide accountability for managing internal legal process and agreement/contract administration
Deliverables Oversight
- Produce PowerPoint & DigiDeck presentations (e.g. decks) with a high-level aesthetic and an exacting level of detail
- Provide administrative support and prep and follow-up materials for prospect/client meetings and following events and administrative documents in a clear, concise and detailed manner
- Manage the tournaments CRM Platform to ensure that client details, financial accounting details and fulfillment assets are properly tracked
- Write benefits summaries, program/event recaps, etc.
Event Execution
- Assist in the execution of property and related events including coordination and communication between internal departments and external prospects/clients
- Support the tournament team in overall matters of the event, including but not limited to marketing, operations, ticketing, etc.
- Develop and lead special events with the support of the operations team for clients during and outside tournament week
Team Management
- Work collaboratively with all members of integrated internal and external teams
- Help train/provide feedback to junior team members
Salary and Benefits The targeted salary range for this position is $55,000 to $75,000, depending on full-time, non-internship professional relevant experience.
This position includes medical, dental, vision, parental leave benefits and 401(k) with company match for qualified employees. This position does not include bonuses, commissions, or other incentives.
Qualifications - Bachelors degree required
- Four (4) to six (6) years experience in a marketing role at an agency, brand, media company, sports or entertainment property, or related organization
- Strong knowledge and understanding of sponsorship marketing and/or event/experiential marketing
- Experience managing holistic brand strategies and seeing the execution through multiple marketing channels
- Ability to manage multiple programs/projects concurrently, inclusive of a detail oriented and organized approach
- Application of superior prioritization and time-management skills
- Ability to produce high quality work at a fast pace
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proactive, team player with a strong work ethic
- Previous experience with daily contact with clients and support teams
- Exemplary written and oral communication skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word; proficiency in Excel
- Ability to travel for business on trips typically lasting between two to five days, as well as long term travel for events or tournaments
- Polished, professional demeanor, projects confidence and enthusiasm for the business
