About The Role: We seek a hands-on, highly technical Senior Engineering Manager to lead our Payments & Risk Platform team. You will drive reliable delivery, improve quality, and build leadership within our global payments and risk infrastructure. Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, you will develop a secure, scalable platform to minimize fraud, optimize payments, and enhance user experience. You will foster a culture of accountability and excellence, ensuring your team has the resources and support needed for success. What You'll Work On: Establish and enforce processes for reliable project delivery Develop and execute engineering strategies aligned with business goals Manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate communication Build and lead a high-performing, inclusive team Ensure technical excellence, system reliability, and security Maintain legacy systems while migrating to modern architectures Ensure compliance with security standards like PCI DSS and GDPR Your Areas of Expertise: 7+ years in software engineering, focusing on payment platforms 3+ years in engineering management leading high-performing teams 2+ years experience with Ruby on Rails Proven track record in delivery velocity, quality, and leadership Deep understanding of payment processing, fraud detection, and risk management Compensation & Benefits: Base pay ranges from $161,000 to $224,000, with additional bonuses and benefits.
