Job Description

Summary of Job:

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the transformation of voice technology in the pharmacy space—elevating traditional IVR (Interactive Voice Response) systems into intelligent, conversational voice assistants that improve patient experience, streamline pharmacy operations, and strengthen pharmacy-patient relationships.

This is a strategic and high-impact role focused on advancing how independent pharmacies engage their customers—through smarter, more personalized, and efficient voice interactions. You’ll lead the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for this critical initiative, working at the intersection of AI-driven innovation, pharmacy workflow, and patient communication.

The ideal candidate is a self-driven product leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, rapidly builds domain expertise, and has a passion for building scalable products that solve real-world problems. You’ll work cross-functionally with engineering, design, customer success, marketing, compliance, and pharmacy stakeholders to deliver solutions that reduce call volume, increase refill adherence, and elevate the pharmacy’s digital front door.

Job Duties
  • Define and lead the product strategy and roadmap for transforming IVR into intelligent voice assistant solutions tailored to independent pharmacy needs.
  • Own the full product lifecycle from discovery and concept through development, launch, iteration, and potential sunsetting.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, pharmacy operations, compliance, marketing, and customer success to deliver scalable, user-centric solutions.
  • Conduct user research and competitive analysis to inform product direction, validate pain points, and identify opportunities for differentiation.
  • Translate user needs into clear, actionable user stories and product requirements, balancing business value with technical feasibility.
  • Drive buy-build-partner decisions and evaluate potential technology or vendor partnerships to accelerate product goals.
  • Support go-to-market planning, working closely with sales and marketing to ensure positioning aligns with pharmacy workflows and customer expectations.
  • Monitor product performance and customer feedback to continuously optimize features, engagement, and patient outcomes for product-market fit.
  • Serve as the voice of the market, bringing pharmacy and patient insights into the product development process and company strategy.
  • Mentor and guide other product team members, contributing to a high-performing, customer-driven product culture.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

  • 7+ years of experience in software product management, ideally in SaaS or platform-based businesses.
  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and shipping impactful products in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience with agile methodologies, lean startup principles, and iterative product delivery.
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills; ability to interpret qualitative and quantitative data to drive product decisions.
  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Slack, Salesforce, and standard productivity suites.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking and stakeholder engagement.
  • Comfortable engaging directly with users, especially pharmacy staff or healthcare professionals, to uncover needs and test solutions.
  • Technically savvy and capable of understanding emerging technologies such as voice AI, NLP, or speech-to-text platforms.

Preferred Skills:

  • Subject matter expertise or professional experience in pharmacy, healthcare, or patient engagement technologies.
  • Pragmatic Institute Certified or other product management certification.
  • MBA or equivalent business/strategy education is a plus.
  • Experience working with conversational AI, IVR systems, or voice-enabled interfaces is a strong advantage.
