Job Description

At PrizePicks, we are the fastest-growing sports company in North America, as recognized by Inc. 5000. As the leading platform for Daily Fantasy Sports, we cover a diverse range of sports leagues, including the NFL, NBA, and Esports titles like League of Legends and Counter-Strike. Our team of over 450 employees thrives in an inclusive culture that values individuals from diverse backgrounds, regardless of their level of sports fandom. Ready to reimagine the DFS industry together?

We're looking for a sharp, mission-driven Product Manager to own and evolve our Core Payments Platform - the foundational engine that powers every transaction at PrizePicks. This role is essential to building a reliable, scalable, and secure money-moving machine that enables our growth and builds unshakable user trust.

You'll partner cross-functionally with Product, Fraud, Compliance, Engineering, Design, and Finance to build a world-class, multi-processor payments infrastructure.
What you'll do:
  • Become an expert on the PrizePicks product and the complexities of the payments landscape.
  • End-to-end product ownership across our Core Payments Platform, including:
    • Payment Processing: The core logic for all deposits and withdrawals.
    • Wallet Infrastructure: The underlying wallet service and ledger that is the source of truth for all user balances.
    • 3rd Party Integrations: Managing our relationships and integrations with key vendors like Cybersource and Aeropay.
    • Backend Performance & Cost Optimization: Driving initiatives to reduce our cost-per-transaction and improve API performance.
What Success Looks Like:
  • Improved platform uptime, latency, and API success rates.
  • Reduced cost-per-transaction and a decrease in reconciliation errors.
  • Faster and more efficient integration of new payment processors.
  • Reduced financial losses from payment-related fraud.
  • Stronger compliance reporting and auditability for all transactions.
What you have:
  • 3+ years of experience in product management or related disciplines.
  • Experience working with payment processors, financial ledgers, or complex backend systems.
  • Strong ability to synthesize cross-functional input (fraud, finance, eng, legal).
  • Systems thinker who enjoys working on foundational primitives.
  • Detail-oriented mindset, especially when working on financial systems and user trust.
  • Experience with products that require high reliability and scalability.
What makes you stand out:
  • Background in fintech, payments infrastructure, or gaming platforms.
  • Prior work on financial reconciliation, fraud mitigation, or processor integrations.
  • Familiarity with building and managing APIs as a product.
  • Deep empathy for the engineering teams who are your primary customers.
Where you'll live:
  • This is an in-office position based out of our brand new offices in Atlanta, GA. #LI-Hybrid
Benefits you'll receive:

In addition to your great compensation package, full-time employees will be eligible for the following perks:
  • Company-subsidized medical, dental, & vision plans
  • 401(k) plan with company match
  • Annual bonus
  • Flexible PTO to encourage a healthy work/life balance (2 weeks STRONGLY encouraged!)
  • Generous paid leave programs, including 16-week paid parental leave and disability benefits
  • Workplace flexibility and modern work schedules focused on getting the job done, not hours clocked
  • Company-wide in-person events and team outings
  • Lifestyle enhancement program
  • Company equipment provided (Windows & Mac options)
  • Annual performance reviews with opportunities for growth and career development
You must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
