Pay Range: $55 - $62/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for APIs using Java, Rest Assured, and Python.
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman and JMeter to validate functionality, performance, and security.
• Implement and manage Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks to enhance collaboration between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Create, execute, and maintain comprehensive test cases and test plans.
• Log and track bugs using Jira, ensuring effective communication with the development team for timely resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on API design and functionality.
• Conduct regression testing and ensure that new features do not adversely affect existing functionality.
• Maintain documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results for audit and compliance purposes.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in API testing and automation.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Key Skills; API automation using Java, Rest Assured, python
• API testing using Postman, Jmeter
• Hands on BDD framework
• Proficient with Jira and test activity like Test case creation, Execution, logging bug and tracking it.
• Mongo knowledge
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in API testing and automation.
• Proficient in Java and Python, with hands-on experience using Rest Assured for API testing.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman and JMeter.
• Strong understanding of BDD frameworks and testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with Jira for test management, including test case creation, execution, and bug tracking.
• Knowledge of MongoDB or similar NoSQL databases.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
