IDR is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Houston, Texas. This role involves designing, developing, and customizing solutions on the ServiceNow platform within a dynamic enterprise environment. The organization specializes in technology-driven service management solutions, supporting large-scale IT and business process automation.

Position Overview for the ServiceNow Developer:

• Act as a technical consultant to customers and business stakeholders.
• Lead requirement gathering sessions, translate complex business needs into detailed technical specifications, and drive the functional and technical design for ServiceNow solutions.
• Design and implement complex ServiceNow architectures, leveraging Scoped Applications, Workflow/Flow Designer, and Integration Hub to automate enterprise workflows and integrations.
• Develop and maintain robust client-side and server-side scripts, including Script Includes, Business Rules, UI policies, Client Scripts, and GlideAjax.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other developers, participate in code reviews, and enforce development standards to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.

Requirements for the ServiceNow Developer:

• 5+ years of dedicated experience in ServiceNow development and implementation.
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related subject.
• Deep, hands-on expertise in ServiceNow platform development and configuration, including core modules (ITSM, ITOM, CSM, HR) and custom application development.
• Proficiency in the GlideRecord, GlideAjax, and ServiceNows scripting model to manipulate data and automate complex business logic.
• Experience developing scoped applications and customizing Service Portal / Employee Service Center Portal widgets.
