We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will design, develop, configure, and implement ServiceNow solutions that support business requirements and improve process efficiency. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality platform enhancements and maintain the stability of ServiceNow environments.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and customize ServiceNow applications, modules, workflows, and integrations.
Develop solutions on the ServiceNow platform including scripting, UI policies, UI actions, business rules, client scripts, and ACLs.
Work on modules such as ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Incident, Change, Problem, Service Catalog, and Knowledge Management.
Implement Service Portal enhancements and custom widgets.
Create and maintain integration solutions using API, REST, SOAP, MID Server, and other connectors.
Perform system upgrades, patching, testing, and troubleshooting activities.
Participate in business discussions, requirement analysis, and solution design sessions.
Maintain documentation for configurations, development work, and architectural decisions.
Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices, security standards, and performance requirements.
Provide production support and resolve platform issues in a timely manner.
12+ years of experience in software development with strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow development.
Solid understanding of ServiceNow architecture, capabilities, and platform components.
Strong proficiency with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, Bootstrap, and REST/SOAP services.
Experience with ServiceNow integration tools and third-party systems.
Expertise with ITIL processes and implementation within the ServiceNow framework.
Experience with Glide scripting and ServiceNow API usage.
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, CIS (ITSM, ITOM, or other modules) are preferred.
Experience in ServiceNow ATF, Discovery, and CMDB management.
Experience in workflow automation and orchestration development.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
