Job Title: Social Media and Influencer Program Manager

Location: Orange County, CA HQ (With travel as needed across our 9-state market)

Social Media and Influencer Program Manager to lead our social media strategy and

influencer initiatives.

Position Overview: The Social Media and Influencer Program Manager will be

responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy that

aligns with Sauce Essentials' brand objectives. This role requires a creative and

strategic thinker who can navigate the complexities of the cannabis industry’s regulatory

environment while building a robust and engaged social media presence. The ideal

candidate will have a proven track record in content creation, influencer management

(both paid and unpaid), and will be skilled in fostering relationships with influencers to

amplify our brand.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Social Media Strategy:

o Develop and implement a strategic social media plan that aligns with

Sauce Essentials’ brand goals and drives engagement across all social

platforms.

o Monitor trends in social media, cannabis industry regulations, and

influencer marketing to keep Sauce Essentials ahead of the curve.

o Manage and optimize social media campaigns, ensuring they are

compliant with industry regulations and resonate with our target audience.

2. Content Creation & Management:

o Lead the creation of engaging content, including in-house photo shoots,

event coverage, user-generated content, and other media that reflect the

brand’s ethos.

o Coordinate and oversee all content production, ensuring consistency in

brand voice, quality, and messaging across all platforms.

o Work closely with the creative team to ensure content is visually appealing

and on-brand.

3. Influencer Program Management:

o Build and manage a robust network of influencers, both paid and unpaid,

who align with Sauce Essentials’ brand values.

o Develop influencer marketing strategies that amplify our reach beyond

owned social platforms, increasing brand visibility and consumer

engagement.

o Cultivate relationships with influencers, negotiating partnerships, and

managing influencer contracts to ensure clear expectations and deliverables.

4. Analytics & Reporting:

o Track, analyze, and report on key metrics for social media performance

and influencer campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for

continuous improvement.

o Utilize data to optimize content, adjust strategies, and report on ROI for

social media and influencer initiatives.

5. Regulatory Compliance:

o Stay informed about cannabis industry regulations across all states where

Sauce Essentials operates, ensuring all social media and influencer

activities comply with local laws.

o Work closely with the legal team to vet content and influencer partnerships

to mitigate risk.

6. Community Engagement:

o Actively engage with Sauce Essentials’ social media community,

responding to comments, messages, and fostering a positive online

presence.

o Organize and oversee events, both virtual and in-person, to boost

community engagement and brand loyalty.

7. Collaboration:

o Work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, product, and legal teams to

ensure social media efforts align with overall business objectives.

o Coordinate with external agencies and freelancers as needed to support

content creation and influencer initiatives.

Qualifications:

Experience:

o 8+ years of experience in social media management, content creation,

and influencer marketing, preferably within the cannabis industry or a

highly regulated market.

o Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media

campaigns and influencer programs.

Skills:

o Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best

practices.

o Exceptional content creation skills, including photography, videography,

and copywriting.

o Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced

environment.

o Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

o Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.

Knowledge:

o In-depth knowledge of the cannabis industry and its regulations is highly

preferred.

o Understanding of consumer behavior in the cannabis market and the

ability to craft content that resonates with this audience.
