Okta IAM Workforce Engineer We are seeking an experienced Okta Workforce Engineer to join our Enterprise Security IAM team. You will work closely with other IT professionals and business stakeholders to ensure that our Okta solution meets the organization’s needs and supports business goals. As an Okta Workforce Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our Okta workforce solution, with a strong understanding of authentication, authorization, SAML, OIDC, SCIM, and access management concepts. Position Responsibilities: Design & Methodology Collaborate with business units, application teams, infrastructure, and vendors to identify, review, and evaluate solution requirements. Investigate and propose strategic solutions for virtualization, consolidation, and rationalization within infrastructure or business contexts. Recommend changes to technical design solutions as needed. Assess and align solutions across platforms, considering hardware and software technologies. Participate in capacity planning and technology investments for long-term strategies. Technical Consulting Provide consulting and planning guidance for moderate to complex projects. Work with various infrastructure teams on initiatives to meet organizational goals. Offer architectural and design consultation for complex systems and integrations. Planning & Organizing Translate requirements into standard service solutions, leveraging existing technology for cost-effective outcomes. Analyze requirements for feasibility, cost, and risk for complex solutions. Risk Management Develop and update architectural standards and strategies. Review and approve complex design solutions for projects and initiatives. Administration Maintain management informed through regular reporting.
