Do you have experience as an Accountant and looking for a new position? We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join a company in Cranberry Township. The Staff Accountant is responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and reconciling bank statements. This role supports the finance team in ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies. This Staff Accountant position is full-time and offers great benefits!

Key Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant:
- Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger.
- Reconcile bank accounts and other balance sheet accounts monthly.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Maintain and update fixed asset schedules.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Prepare financial reports and analysis as needed.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data.

Qualifications of the Staff Accountant:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 1–3 years of accounting experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
