Overview Direct-Hire Authority (DHA) is a hiring authority granted by the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) to address critical hiring needs or severe candidate shortages. Duties The Statistician is the subject matter expert (SME) and principal staff authority, coordinator, consultant, and evaluator of developing statistical analysis projects that concentrate on identifying leading EOIR practices resulting in improving data reliability, validity, and timeliness in the research, forecasting and reporting of immigration data. Duties include but are not limited to the following: Requirements You must be a United States Citizen or National. You must successfully pass a security/background investigation and a drug screening.
